WHO IS TR FUNDING?
TR Funding, LLC was formed in 1994 by principals Rick Principe and Tony Principe for the purpose acquiring commercial real estate throughout the Southern California area. Rick and Tony have a combined 58 years of experience in the acquisition, development, financing, property management and real estate brokerage of all real estate product types, including office, industrial parks, retail, self storage, multi-family, single family and estate homes.
TR Funding has acquired/developed 15 commercial projects in the Ventura County area in recent years, including the following:

Rick Principe has a lifetime of commercial real estate experience ranging from leasing, sales, developing, and management. He has formed and managed over seventy (70) partnerships, which represented the development and management of shopping centers, office buildings, industrial projects, medical buildings, condominiums, and single family homes. Rick is CEO of Westcord Commercial Real Estate, which was formed in 1969.
With over 39 years of experience in his profession, he has received the “Salesman of the Year” award and the “Realtor of the Year” award from the Conejo Valley Board of Realtors.
Rick’s involvement in the civic community include; Chairman of the Thousand Oaks Improvement District, past President of the Alliance for the Arts, President of the Hidden Valley Homeowners Association, Director of the Hidden Valley Water Board, past Chairman and current member of the Thousand Oaks Mayor’s Business Roundtable, and currently co-chair of the Thousand Oaks Boulevard Property Owners Association.

Tony is involved with the acquisition/dispositions of the projects in the TR funding portfolio, along with all marketing efforts.
A twenty-year veteran and top producer specializing in office properties for Westcord, Tony has handled in excess of seven million square feet of property, and recorded over 2,000 sales and lease transactions totaling in excess of $1 billion dollars. Tony has been honored as the Westcord network’s “Top Producer” since 1991 consistently completing over $50 million per year in closed transactions.
Tony is frequently called upon to speak before various groups and was a major panelist on both the 2000 Annual Real Estate Forum presented by VCEDA, as well as the Ventura County Real Estate Forum at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza. Tony is frequently quoted in news media’s such as the Los Angeles Times, Daily News, Los Angeles Business Journal, Pacific Coast Business Times and other periodicals regarding the state of the commercial real estate market in Los Angeles/Ventura Counties. He has also written articles published in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Guide.

- 2001-2006. Rotary Club International. Tony is volunteering his time for various community outreach programs and was the first host family to host a foreign exchange student from China to the U.S.
- Councilor/Speaker at the four day RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Association) camp in Ojai, California.
- Tony has actively coached youth Baseball for his two boys for the past five consecutive seasons- Westlake Baseball.
- 1989-2002. American Heart Association, Ventura County Chapter. Tony served as President of the chapter, and Member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer.
- 1988-2005. Braille Institute Special Olympics- Los Angeles. Tony served as the Chairman of Coaching.
- 1986-2001. Optimist Club of the Conejo Valley. Tony has served as President and a member of the Board of Directors.
